Blackwater River State Forest is 230,000 acres and surrounds the RV park. It spans over 300,000 acres. Hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, and many other recreational activities are available nearby. Blackwater River State Park is 600 acres and is located 3 miles north of the RV park. It has restrooms and a public swimming hole on the Blackwater River. Blackwater River above Milton is ranked as one of the cleanest rivers in the nation. Beautiful white sandy beaches. Blackwater canoe rental just up the road offers a safe, family-oriented canoe/kayak or tube trip at a fair price.
The Harold store next door to the rv park offers a good line of groceries and cooks Pizza in the evening and biscuits in the morning. They have propane exchange. Everything ya need is in walking distance.
